If you're looking for a hotel that is as close to the city centre as you can get without paying an excessive amount for an overnight stay, then this is the place for you. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Deansgate tram stop, making it easy to get around the city. Plus, you can access the rooms without having to go through the pub, which is a nice touch.
One thing to note is that the rooms can have a tired look and feel to them.

Great location for city center and canal locks. Helpful check-in. Nice, well-equipped bathroom. Clean and equipped room, although a bit tight. Very kind and friendly staff. Fantastic location for watching Rocky Horror. Toilet was clean and sanitized. Good selection of beers. Clean and hygienic. Lovely and helpful staff. Apologetic after encountering problems. We enjoyed location and staff and great prices. Exceptionally comfortable bed, large bathroom and a coffee/tea maker, a flat screen TV and ironing facilities in the room.

The Oxnoble exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The location couldn't have been better, as it was conveniently situated near the train station and close to the city centre. We were also pleased to find that the staff provided excellent service, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The basic amenities in our room were just what we needed, and the large private bathroom was a bonus. The comfortable beds, including the option of having three single beds, allowed us to enjoy a restful night's sleep. Not only did they offer a range of options, but they also catered to our vegan dietary requirements. It's rare to find such a great breakfast for just £4!
No negative aspects to mention, everything was satisfactory.
